Illustrator Violet Freeland
Blessing others through her art, Michigan artist Violet Freeland has gained recognition as one of those rare artists who touch the human heart with a charming and distinctive style that reaches to our innermost sentiments. As evidenced in these pages, Violet's illustrations capture the eternal spirit of youthful hope in the hearts of all children.
She studied under renowned Italian oil painter, Mina Greco Hall - whose paintings have been exhibited in the Louvre in Paris, as well as great museums of art in Budapest and Japan.
Violet has also illustrated Dragonfly Denny, by Denise Rowe another beautiful story for young and old. Her oil paintings can be viewed online, and are available for purchase, through Treeline Gallery. Violet resides with her husband, Dick in East Lansing, Michigan. They have two married children - Rich and Katie.
